Before you email
If a school or catchment looks wrong, tell us the school name and the postcode you searched from; that lets us reproduce it. If the app crashed, the version number from the About screen (menu ☰ → About) helps too.
Common questions
Why isn't my school shown? VennMap covers state and independent schools in England, Wales and Scotland. A school can be missing if it has opened or merged recently, or if it doesn't match your current filters (phase, Ofsted grade, budget or commute). Try widening the filters first.
Why does the catchment look different from the council's map? Where a council publishes its boundary we use it. Elsewhere the catchment is an estimate, marked as such in the school's details. Councils' real rules can differ, and change every year, so always check with the council before you commit.
Is VennMap free? Free forever if you download in the first month. A paid tier with extra features may follow later; anyone who installed in the first month keeps the full app free.
How do I delete my data? Nothing is stored about you on our servers. Deleting the app removes your settings from your phone. See the privacy policy.
